Talked to Jim Cooper this morning and he told me about Betty's move to the Cullison House and how he had packed stuff and the people who moved her. He didn't think that she had stayed by herself yet but she will. She has people all around her. This will be a good thing! I may give her a call this weekend.
I went out to eat, at lunch, today with Barbara Clinton Lohr. Barb and I have been friends since we were in high school, she is from Sikeston and both our husbands were on the football team at SEMO. She is now the Mayor of Jackson and we always have such a good time together.
Liz was here working when I got back and she went through stuff--she did an extended email batch of Sara --whose birthday is August 30. Now I can totally concentrate on the book. But not tonight. I'm going to the Concert in a Cave at St. Genevieve winery with several people from here tonight. We are leaving at 5:00. I'll probably be too drunk to blog when I get in --yeah!
